Not about this Youtube film but still pertinent... from Maryam Namazie's blog:

The Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain would like to make public our support for Tom Holland’s Channel 4 documentary ‘Islam: The Untold Story’. We are indignant to learn that due to threats made on Holland, Channel 4 has cancelled a repeat screening of the historical inquiry into the origins of Islam similar to the kind of inquiry that has been applied to other religions and histories in Britain for many years.

The threats and concerted attempt to stigmatise the documentary and its producers by attacking its credibility and even legitimacy as a field of inquiry is nothing less than an attempt to impose a blasphemy taboo by stealth and coercion against programming that scrutinises Islam.

Caving in to the coercive pressure of Islamists will have catastrophic effects on free inquiry and expression where it pertains to Islam. It would not only further silence academic, historical and theological scrutiny of Islam but would also have the chilling effect of exerting added pressure on Muslims and ex-Muslims who wish to dissent from and question Islam.

The CEMB urges Channel 4 to reconsider its decision and urges the public to view the documentary and write to Channel 4 calling for a repeat screening.

Nothing justifies this killing but at the same time this idiot who made this film wanted a provocation and he got one. 4 people are dead and he is equally to blame. He should also be brought to justice.
Freedom of speech is one thing but along this also comes responsibility. This was clearly a hate movie and intended to provoke. Whilst in the West, people are more tolerant of religions, it is a way of life for muslims... it is their whole existence. He knew it and deliberately stirred this up.
What if one stood and shouted anti-semitic slogans... does this justify "free speech?"

More shocking is that morons like this could easily ignite world wars.

Shocked at this senseless murder of 4 innocents.

Free speech means defending people's rights to make films, books, cartoons that may mock or offend other religions doesn't it?

What if a book mocked the Holocaust or victims of 9/11 with the intention of inciting a backlash? Is this called free speech?

Free speech obviously has its limits.

We had a very sensitive guy in our primary school (when i was a child) who had bright ginger hair, was about 6ft tall at age 11, and had a very bad temper. If you called him 'ginger', he would chase you and beat the shit out of you. People incited him on purpose, for the thrill of the chase I guess.

The point is, were you supposed to feel sorry for the kid who shouted "ginger!!" and then ran away giggling excitedly, only to get headlocked? I don't think so. He knew what he was doing.

This takes it a step further because people make videos to purposely incite violence knowing that not just THEMSELVES, but OTHERS might get killed as a result. So yes they are idiots in their own right.

These kinds of books are used to 'educate' Palestinians in Gaza. I take your point though, there is a limit to free speech when it is used to incite hate in someone else.

That's funny and great satire and must be protected under freedom of speech. According to some apparently.

Others might see it as a provocation and insult with intention to incite hatred, so the reaction, while not justified, should not come as a surprise.

Those guys who deliberatly do things to incite people, want wild reactions are also equally responsible.
Burning someone's religious book publicly, throwing pork in a mosque or beef in a temple...such acts are done with only ONE motive, which is clearly not freedom of speech and expression.

"equally responsible"? Do you really think so? By saying that you are justifying the actions of the thugs who killed innocent men. I don't see how making a stupid movie "equates" to taking someone's life. Please explain.

I worked in Gaza and I saw anti-Muslim hate materials being used in a kids' playroom in an Israeli-run hotel. So we cannot pretend that Islam is evil and Christianity or Judaism are whiter than white. There is hatred, propaganda and irresponsible incitement on all sides.
