I think foreigners should follow the law of the land. If they don't like it they can leave. I support the ban on Christian crosses in Saudi Arabia, and I support the ban on non-Christian paraphernalia in Europe.

Funny, I don't recall you placing in the fascist/authoritatian quarter of the "Political Compass"...

Of course, I oppose both bans, but I still wouldn't expect authoritarians to agree with me.

Yes, I was surprised I was considered a "libertarian", but I believe I was among the ones closer to the "authoritarian" box.

    I am not a fascist. I am a socialist!!!!

But they were not foreigners. They were French.

Yes, because of the very stupid "family reunification" laws, and the fact that everybody born on French territory automatically gets a French passport. What a stupid law!!!

    Why can't socialists be racist???

Actually a lot of support for the Front National comes from former communists.

...and if you had read the law you would know it is not related to school only but most form of public spaces (transport being one of them).

Not referring to this specifically, but I approve of the French's stand in support of secularism. "Religious freedom" must no longer mean "religious privilege", no matter how the religious complain that removing their privilege equals oppression.
