    You need more than a British passport to vote in UK elections. There is also a residency requirement. I, for example, don't have a vote in any UK elections any more (and I have no problem with that since I'm not liable for UK taxes).

    Never voted in my life nor do I want to but isn't there a way to register your vote with the consulate or something?

    I am not bragging, just saying that I have never voted or intend to. Surely it is my democratic right to choose if I want to vote or not?
