    I go direct to the news sites. My experience with news aggregators are they show more stuff that I don't want to read rather than the stuff that I do. TBH, I don't have much experience in this sort of thing, are there ones I can fine tune to only display items that contain keywords?

    Eventhough I can't read or write Chinese, I can speak it fluently, so I visit sites like Apple Daily and play the videos. Also, I like watching TVB's documentaries that highlight 'micro' issues.

    I too would be interested in HK news that doesn't fit. Can easily get international news elsewhere.

    HK Columns (Translated) is dedicated to translate how genuine HKers feel to expats and English-reading locals for free. There are a lot of pro-dems (or even radical) op-eds in Chinese, but a few in English. The page desperately needs volunteers if they are able and willing to translate.
