    McCain's VP choice?

Who are you betting on to be McCain's running mate?

I personally think Lieberman would be an interesting choice - shows some willingness to change and even bring an pro-abortion candidate into the GOP ticket.

Rice is apparently campaigning for the position...

    What about Romney?

Yeah, Romney would be a good guy to take Biden on in the debates.

Rice? With all due respect, I don't see the Republicans voting for a black woman.

Can't help but think that McCain's decision to ask Romney and Gulliani to hit Denver as attack dogs is a sign they are not VP candidates.

I think Tim Pawlenty is an outside chance, but I would really like to see McCain step up and nominate Sarah Palin.

I strongly object to the term "pro-abortion". Pro-choice is a better term.

Also you are wrong about Republicans not voting for a McCain/Rice ticket because she is a black woman. Republicans will vote for anyone with an (R) next to their name.

    McCain's VP choices

The Republicans might vote for Rice.

Colin Powell would be good, but doubt he would accept it.

Does it matter if it's a blow up doll called Gladys? It's not like he has a chance of winning.

I think its one of those sugar coated words even though I think it is up to the individual to abort or not abort an unborn baby.

You've not been looking at the polls have you? Gallup has him ahead of Obama.

No black woman but an abortionist (to leave out the sugarcoating ). Veeeery likely indeed

The way it looks from the poll, McCain - even if he is unpopular among the ultra-conservatives - will still win Dixie. What he needs to win as well are big swing states like Florida, Ohio, Indiana etc.. Who is popular there?
