Li Ka-shing in talks to buy O2

"It would reduce the number of major operators in the UK from four to three, which might not benefit consumers."

BBC News - Li Ka-shing in talks to buy O2 for £10bn

Well, well, well, Li Ka Shing doing something again that doesn't benefit the consumer? Never!!!

im not so sure. He owns the 'kruidvat' chains. A dutch version of Watsons. If u want bargains, u go to kruidvat. The other option is Etos, owned by Ahold. They overcharge on everything.
As a consumer, I was quite happy with kruidvat.
