    I'm not sure how she is our worker....as she works at a 7-11 in Connecticut, USA.

    Remarkable story none the less and her last name is Sherpa... very apropos.

    if you read the thread it was corrected to YOUR 7/11 work not OUR - typo in the title that I cannot fix (Mod note: FIXED).

    Sherpa is a name/ethnic group. Most nepalese originated from that area of Nepal are called Sherpa XXX

    but yes agree, amazing story. Relatively good year on Everest this year with over 300 summits and "only" 6 death so far.

    I would never underestimate the ability of a 7-11 worker to climb Everest.

    I would underestimate their ability to pay the estimated cost of 7 x $45,000 = 315,000 USD. They must pay well in Connecticut.

    But she is a Nepali Sherpa....I think she might get a locals discount

    She is a paid guide for 7 Summits Adventure so she does not pay, she is paid to giude client.
