I went back 2 years ago, and after burning through the cigarettes I bought at the Duty Free I had to buy cigarettes on a number of occasions, and the least I paid was a tenner, with the highest being just a smudge under 12 quid.

Would have been much cheaper just to quit... which is the point.

Shit, was that London? I was paying 7 or 8 quid in Hull.

Still bloody expensive for a packet of fags. £70-80 a carton is crazy money, and £100+ in London. It's expensive and kills you, what's not to like?

I used to buy cartons from this girl in Chinatown at 30 quid a carton of Marlboro. This was about 6 years ago, dunno if she is still around.

    That escalated quickly...

Awwww, poor bankers, going to have a bit of a rough ride. I think that's great, because it really is a portion of the working public that needed a very big slap down.

Now if they can dismantle the House of Lords or cease giving them any public money, that would be another positive step for the average person.

Eliminate the divisive components, especially ' privilege and classist mentality, and you might just be on your way to an honest, cohesive society.
