I don't know if it will do anything but here's an ongoing petition:
Freedom for Asia Bibi - PetitionBuzz

"Although no-one has been executed under the laws so far at least 20 people arrested on suspicion of blasphemy have been murdered while in custody, sometimes by their own guards. "
"The governor of the Punjab at the time, Salmaan Taseer, was murdered by his bodyguard, Mumtaz Qadri, in January 2011 after he attempted to get clemency for Ms Bibi."
This is why I will never go to any majority Muslim country. They have problems with sexism, freedom of speech, have weird blasphemy laws, and all ready to kill or arrest whoever insults their prophet.

    Excuse me ?

Why should modern first world humanity, feel, embarrassed for, Pakistan?

I feel sympathy for the poor girl and the 100's/1000's of folks who suffer similar fates, when their nation hasn't got the guts, to separate, church from state.

It's the 21st century, an era of spacemen, not, cavemen .

I think I know what point you're making but fundamentally it's really a failure of all humans, especially first worlders, that huge swathes of our species are basically savages*. On a one-to-one level in the 21st century it should not be conceivable to any person that a bowl of water can be made unclean just because they talk to a slightly different looking invisible bearded man from the invisible bearded man you talk to. That's what's embarrassing, even before you take into account how many stupid or evil people in authority in Pakistan have dealt with this case without throwing it out.

    *Also see US election 2016

Sorry, but you have really lost me...

How is the US election, or the rest of the modern, technological, first world, who are allied with her, at fault, or, even remotely responsible, for the patriarchal decisions/indiscretions of, Pakistan ?

    We're not...

In multicultural society, why is Islam tolerated?

I think there's a 60% chance that Dirty Hairy has cloned himself as GoFruitYourself.

There is exactly a 0% chance.

I would have put 'a' between 'In' and 'multicultural'!

Just kidding...actually I would have said 'enlightened' rather than 'multicultural' but I'm not sure there are any 'enlightened' societies...lol

    Back on topic...first of all

, I'm glad you posted this and not me...it would have been deleted by now if I had, I'm sure...

I am appalled at her situation. My questions to you...

What are you doing about it?

What do you think we should do about it?

Well I signed the online petition and shared it on Facebook...I feel very powerless when it comes to things like this.

Religion is stupid. I'm glad Hong Kong is, was, and will forever be a secular society. (Traditional Taoist/Buddhist rituals don't count)
