It's official - Putin was involved in U.S. election hacks

U.S. intelligence officials now believe with "a high level of confidence" that Russian President Vladimir Putin became personally involved in the covert Russian campaign to interfere in the U.S. presidential election, senior U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.

Putin's objectives were multifaceted, a high-level intelligence source told NBC News. What began as a "vendetta" against Hillary Clinton morphed into an effort to show corruption in American politics and to "split off key American allies by creating the image that [other countries] couldn't depend on the U.S. to be a credible global leader anymore," the official said.

I can't help but smile at Americans complaining about other countries interfering in their choice of leader.

"It's official"? It's nothing more than a rumor. Best part of it all is that the Russian hacking of HRC's emails supposedly influenced the elections. You'd think it was the contents of those emails, which is genuine no matter who actually released them.

Best part of it is the hypocrisy.

It's stronger than a rumor, apparently the Obama administration and senior members of Congress were notified of it before the election. The CIA apparently is saying that both DNC and RNC emails were hacked, so why were only DNC released to Wikileaks? If the goal was to discredit or embarrass the US then why not both? Given how many candidates were running for the GOP nomination I am sure there are some hilarious comments about Ted Cruz being a weirdo, Ben Carson and pyramids of grain, Jeb Bush being boring, etc.

To be fair the first article in your screenshot talks about the actual hacking of voting machines/computers, the second of hacking with the intent to leak secrets of political parties to influence elections, two different subjects.

GOP said the RNC was hacked but FBI investigated and found nothing was taken. Wikileaks is maintaining that the Podesta emails came from a campaign insider not from hackers. FBI and others have distanced themselves from the CIAs assessment that Russia was trying to get Trump into office. CIA have stated that they can't prove link from the hackers to Wikileaks. Now the CIA is refusing to provide the evidence to Congress after it was requested.

So it is anything but clear at the moment. Will see later if the CIA can pony up the proof that the Podesta emails really did come from the hackers.

Two senior officials with direct access to the information say new intelligence shows that Putin personally directed how hacked material from Democrats was leaked and otherwise used.
Two senior US intelligence officers vs. you saying "nothing more than a rumor" - guess who's the more credible source here? Don't try the "don't believe everything you read" shit with me neither.
