    Yes has only taken them ten months to decide they will begin to look at the evidence. Duterte says he is happy because he is fed up with the accusations. After the preliminary examination they can go to the preliminary investigation. They can then go to trial, if the Philippines cooperates. Of the 12,000 complaints they have received only 9 have gone to trial.

    That's nothing, Human Rights Watch called the Philippines the "worst and most repressive regime in Asia". I think most people could think of just a few that are more repressive.

    The Washington Post editorial board talked about "a police state despot with disappeared and concentration camps".
