    Switzerland where gun ownership is about 30%
    USA is only about 22%

    And Switzerland is very expensive and they have horrible food. They probably dont take credit cards either.
    I'd avoid it if I were you

    I bet you if you showed them a gun instead of a credit card, they would serve you

    OK Michael's question wasn't the smartest BUT in all fairness and looking for example at what Hull posted:

    USA = 50th most dangerous
    France = 113th
    Korea = 117th
    UK = 122nd
    Singapore = 143rd
    Germany = 148th
    Japan = 154th

    So yes its' not the most dangerous but it also doesn't strike me as that safe in comparison to the other I listed (and to be fair, each time I go - around every two years for a couple of weeks and usually Chicago and NYC - it does feel less safe/more tense than most places I visit)

    But granted it's not the most dangerous, by far.

    I think it is fair to say that of developed countries it is one of the most dangerous. You have to be careful in reading that table because it includes things like military spending, nuclear weapons, military prrsonnel, etc none of which makes the ordinary person in nearly all cases less safe.

    If Fondue and Raclette tops your scale of good dishes, then you haven't experienced food yet. Btw, their cake sucks too. Too dry.

    They'd probably just assume that you had come from Dundas/airsoft Street round the corner. Don't know if they take credit cards in the airsoft shops though.

    Geo expat at its best here.

    Did I say it top my list of good dishes?

    Anyway, anything said half in jest is always taken this way.
