I guess this will result in another futile argument; the school was a 'gun free zone' meaning there was no armed security who might have stopped the guy and it looks like he might have been 'anti-fa'.
17 kids died and it will devolve into a shouting match...watch.
Life in the good ol' Us of A... And it ain't gonna get better. Ban people from certain countries because of the danger when there are more far people dying from guns in the US yearly than there are from terrorism worldwide. Take all the islamic related terrorism deaths ever in the US and it doesn't even come close to their yearly tally of killing each other. In the US, the chances of dying from a traffic accident is about the same as from being shot. I guess it's easier to label others as "axis of evils" than to look in the mirror. It really doesn't matter if it's 5, 10, 15 or a 100 people dead in a school shooting, attitudes won't change.
I have nothing against the right to bear arms, what I find completely insane is that there is virtually no training or education required. It's harder to get a driving license than a gun license. They resist background checks, no issues with drinking and firearms possession, they resist limits on the kind of weapons people can own. How can it not be a disaster waiting to happen?
And it is so common that people are just blase about those discussions...
1) Thoughts
2) Prayers
Those are the only 2 you need. Just repeat them after me : Thoughts & Prayers!
This is becoming the biggest joke of all. The Onion reposting that same damn article every-single-time :: the event is always tragic, this article and the sentiments behind it is pure irony gold!
