I think people can use any name they like and attacking Beto for his is petty. Ted Cruz is by al accounts a deeply unlikable man and his policies in my view are abhorrent. I’d vote for a candidate named Big Bird over him.

Good grief are we really attempting to draw distinctions based on choosing a name when you're 4 or 14?

These are adults who have used their selected names for decades, it needs no inferences drawing based on which 'side'you are shouting for, it just is. Perhaps if people stuck to debating relevant political positions and personal traits, while leaving out the bits that really don't matter a rats arse the debate could be just an incey bit more reasonable.

I'm watching this closely. For the first time ever, I managed to send in an absentee ballot. Whether or not the voting office will bother to count it, who knows...

I'm still mad I missed voting in the last presidential election. It's a huge pain to get these absentee ballots.

In all the noise, I was not aware that Bernie Sanders was up for reelection.

With that last round of poll closures, we have immediate projections in the Virginia and Vermont senate races – as expected in Vermont, which is sending Bernie Sanders back to Washington.

In a quick-dropping call, Virginia will likewise send Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 running mate, back to the senate.

My state gave an option to receive a ballot for every election unless I ask them to stop. Did it last presidential election so the ballots arrive 6 weeks before Election Day. Does your state offer this?
