Just casually looking around the beaches in Hong Kong you'll see plenty of plastic bags and little plastic cups. Why all the people going to the beach don't make that connection between their waste and the waste in the sea is beyond me...

Exactly and it's not only the beaches but you find plastic everywhere on the floor. I started picking up all the plastic that i find while walking with my dog but every time there is new trash when I return the next day. It's disgusting

Yes... and once you pick up one, then you size another 10 and suddenly your hands are full and dirty. The sea is downhill from everything.
