I’d say let her back in but must spent 2 years in re-education camp.

What about a spell of rustication? A few years in the countryside learning from the peasants? We will need food producers after Brexit, after all

Appalling & tragic result of political grandstanding by Sajid Javid. I hope this weighs on his conscience at the very least.

And as this is now back in the news, this thread caught my attention (it started with an incredibly racist comment from a complete shit):

400 ISIS Brits allowed to return, yet only ones stripped of UK citizenship are girls & their kids. If these girls have committed crimes, prosecute them. Investigate how they were groomed online. Abandoning them does not protect UK.

Even if they hadn't stripped her citizenship, they were not going to send in SAS to rescue this girl regardless. She is in a refugee camp in a territory with no British consular presence, she would have to have traveled to Turkey to get any assistance even in the best case scenario. Her baby's death is extremely sad but I don't believe Britain is responsible for it.

Glad to see the Irish govt acting rationally while the Brits and the Yanks are busy trying to outdo each other at who could behave worse....but there is a visible difference in the cases.

I thought it was ok for White / ex-Christians to return to both the countries, without issues.

You're right - post updated to indicate the purity of the situation.
