Wasn't someone on here talking about leaving Hong Kong for Ecuador? Frying pan to fire it seems.

Yeah, that was me, on the list of "places to check out for retirement." Saw that they were having an uprising.

I'm more interested in Cuenca than Quito...

Are you sure you don't work for the CIA?

I lived in the CIA neighborhood in McLean, VA, and all my neighbors told me that they worked for the "State Department."

My cover? I worked for the "Patent Office..."

    Me too. Lol.

All my colleagues lived in Virginia too but I decided to live in DC.

Went to some friends parents house for dinner, and they blantanely said they are retired from the CIA. But not sure how they had such a nice house, definitely not from a CIA salary.

Loved how when I went to work, I would park right next to the White House and put a note on the car that says do not ticket and that worked.

Patent office doesn't pay enough to live in McLean

Worked at the PTO, then three other jobs, then went back for a couple of years to the PTO...

Other jobs, yeah, paid better but those couple of years of 9-5 were great as my daughter was about 9 at the time....
