WHO Corrects Wuhan Virus Risk Levels...

The World Health Organization on Monday admitted an error in its assessment of the global risk of a deadly virus in China, saying it was "high" and not "moderate".

The Geneva-based UN health agency said in a situation report published late Sunday that the risk was "very high in China, high at the regional level and high at the global level."

In a footnote, the WHO explained that it had stated "incorrectly" in its previous reports on Thursday, Friday and Saturday that the global risk was "moderate".

Sadly, with many scientists predicting a major pandemic at some point, WHO has demonstrated a lack of preventative and proactive, responsive leadership. Instead, they seem to be a week behind the news.

When you sit there being fed drivel by China and accept it, might be hard to get to different conclusions.

Given China’s proven lack of credibility on outbreaks and the number of senior virologists who are warning of a pandemic, i would think it easy to draw different conclusions.

Absolutely that was my first thought they had been listening to mainland spin when they should have looked at facts and they could have asked me or some guy on the ground : from a professional opinion the airport screen was a disaster as of last night : real eye opener to me as I assumed who to be on top of this
