Whoa, we already got North Korea acting bad again, now there's news of fatalities on both India and China's side in their latest clash over the border. And I thought the latest flare-up is settling down? I guess not. Correct me if I am wrong, but there hasn't been soldiers killed in clashes along the border between China and India for quite a few decades. So this seems serious. Let's hope there isn't a wide scale clash between the two countries as neither Delhi or Beijing wants that:

So what is happening with the world lately? As if the coronavirus isn't bad enough...

Beaten to death??? I would have ordered the troops to open fire and kill as many of them as possible. With this virus killings shit loads, might as well have a war, why not
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-53061476Local media outlets reported that the Indian soldiers were "beaten to death" but there was no confirmation from the military.
Xi's new man for the Western PLA Unit is making his mark quite quickly.

The highly aligned comments on some of the articles I choose at random to read are really quite deranged. A bit of a worry.

I find it more incredible that a bunch of soldiers have actually managed to kill each other in this way. They patrol with no guns to avoid starting a war, but somehow get into a brawl where at least 3 are killed?!
Death toll supposedly higher as being reported now. 20 Killed. Huge mobilisation from Indian Army reported. This could snowball into something big.
Current reports say 20 Indian and 43 Chinese soldiers killed/missing during the skirmish. Other sources say only 3 Indian and 4 Chinese soldiers killed in the fist fight/stone throwing. Not sure which is true.
Edit: Indian Army just confirmed 20 casualties. 3 killed yesterday and another 17 who were critically injured and exposed to sub-zero temperatures at the valley succumb. No confirmation on numbers from the Chinese side, except for a tweet from Global Times editor confirming Chinese casualties.
