Mike Pence wouldn't even own up to the fact that he would want Indiana to outlaw abortion when asked what he thought his former state should do...amazing. Was pretty impressed how he side-stepped that whole minefield when we know he is the most avid anti-abortion proponent in politics...

Twitter also pointing out that Mike Pence's pinkeye is a coronavirus symptom...

Shame on the moderator for having allowed him and also Kamala to get away without really answering the question.

They should have a yes / no quick fire round in debates... for shits and giggles.

Both candidate sidestepped the question and simply reaffirmed their basic position. Harris said she would always support the right of women to choose without specifics and Pence said he was pro life and proud of it.

They will never answer questions which puts them in a box. It doesn't matter what the rules, who the moderators are and what party they are from. Best she could have done is point out when candidates didn't answer the questions which was equally frequent.

Pence tonight: I'm not even going to swat that fly. They'll see. And they'll say, wow, that Vice President, why, he wouldn't even harm a fly.

Tonight's debate is a reminder of just how surprisingly poor Biden's choice of running mate was. A reminder that Harris had an easy ride in California politics and was destroyed in the primary debates by Tulsi Gabbard. Pence was methodical, knowledgable, calm, and totally outplayed Willie Brown's side piece.

The fly wouldn't be all Twitter is talking about if Harris won the debate.
