Latest numbers from Portugal:
Almost all people (99%) aged 65 and over (2.3 million people) have completed vaccination as well as 96% of all people between 50 and 64 years old (2.1 million people).
Two weeks ago they started allowing vaccination appointments for the age group 12-17 years of which 74% now received their first shot (460.000 youngsters) and in the next two weeks their second shot.
Age group 18-24 years old has 82% with first shot and 50% already received second shot.
All in all 84% of the total population has received at least one shot.
Just had a disappointing bit of insight from HKCC...
Great News... All of our F&B staff are vaccinated with at least the first dose...
Except... the 20(!!!) staff signed off medically unfit for vaccination
Seriously 20 must be at least a third to half of the total staff. There can't be more than one person (working in what are generally reasonably physical and demanding jobs) among that group who genuinely can't be vaccinated. The doctors for the other 19 all need to be struck off the medical register.
Singapore... reopening. Lol.Original Post Deleted
