    As a sign of how many people are isolating at home here in the Philippines, the pharmacies have run out of paracetamol and other flu medicines.

    60% of sequenced tests are now omicron and giving the time taken to sequence and the speed it is spreading that figure must be much higher by now.

    Health care workers in the Philippines who have been in contact with a possible covid case now have no quarantine.

    Health care workers who have been in contact with a confirmed case now have 5 days quarantine reduced from 10.

    Worse this morning but stabilized this afternoon. Hoping this is the worst of it. Drinking plenty of water but that makes the abdominal edema worse. Luckily I have my own ensuite.
