If the diplomat insisted on playing professional tennis then that could cause a stir.

"Today I exercised my power... to cancel the visa held by Mr Novak Djokovic on health and good order grounds, on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so," the minister said in a statement.

The move also means Djokovic likely faces a three-year ban on obtaining a new Australian visa.

    Self-inflicted.
He should learn when it's useful to play humble. His deranged family the the combined Serbian lunacy did not help much either.

If Australia’s rules are anything like the UK’s, immigration decisions are made on the passport and the visa used on entry.

An emergency court hearing getting underway now (8:45pm Melb time), Judge Anthony Kelly residing (the same dickhead that overturned the governments first visa cancellation a week ago). Round in circles we go

I was just thinking, I have watched Border Security from Australia a lot and I don't remember ever once seeing anyone having their visa cancelled being told they had the right of appeal. Is that right only for the rich and famous?
