    Australian election

A very good chance Australia will have a new government and new Prime Minister after tomorrow. It could be a good opportunity to reset things with our friends in China.

KRudd is looking forward to that diplomatic posting he's always wanted.

A change in government may or may not give Australia a chance to improve relations with China, but it's a given Australia's already high taxes will be increased further. A raid on super schemes seems highly likely according to friends on the ground.

One Nation don't seem to be doing well, how does this compare to previously?

Second question, is there any common theme among the independents who seem to be doing very well.

One nation was diluted by Clive Palmers United Australia Party. But overall the smaller parties got larger share of the vote. Labor won, but actually got only 31% of primary vote, which is very low.

Never realised Australians used American spelling.
