So you think the "typical white male" goes to an elite private school and Oxford?

Or are you suggesting that Oxford is for white people only?

He didn't say that. "Typical white male politician". That last word is very important and reflects how politicians don't reflect the population.

As to the last sentence about Oxford you just made that up or are you suggesting only politicians go to Oxford?

    See @hullexile for my response.

    You missed my point completely.

I don't really follow British politics that much, but this video is shocking. I knew the whole Brexit thing was built on shoddy ground and with lies.

She is coming from a position that people would traditionally trust -- she is on TV, speaking from a position of power, dressed professionally, etc. To see her manipulate the truth and create a fictional narrative is a serious problem, and now it seems to be a defining feature in our politicians. I think Hong Kong got the worst of it (CL never resigned), but I'd expect better of the UK. The problem now is that there are only other clowns to choose from who were idiotic enough in the first place to stand behind the buffoon. Quite hard to back-track. What a mess they've got themselves into...

At least in the UK it seems the media is allowed to press them on their untruthfulness and uninformed policies. Hope they will continue.

I hope Scotland can get out and back in the EU. Would be nice to have more "English"-speaking countries.

While the Tories continue to implode where is the credible alternative?

Election polling situation. As it stands Labour would have a majority.
