    Back on topic..

The search, according to multiple people familiar with the investigation, appeared to be focused on material that Mr. Trump had brought with him to Mar-a-Lago, his private club and residence, when he left the White House. Those boxes contained many pages of classified documents, according to a person familiar with their contents.

The New York Times: The search appears to be focused on materials Trump took from the White House..

The raid took place 18 months after he left the White House (3 months before the midterm election).

But he tried to overthrow the government using violent means, like Mussolini (one of his heroes) before him. Isn't that enough of a crime?

Side note: Trump appointed the current director of the FBI.

Trump is guilty of a lot of things and his actions during the Capitol riot(and many other events) were despicable however it's an exaggeration to say he tried to violently overthrow the government. Hopefully he does end up in jail or at least out of politics for one of the many other misdeed committed

That is your opinion. Many people, quite reasonably, don't share it.

There are many that are of the opinion that he won the election or that it was stolen from him. In order for something to be reasonable, there has to be evidence and actions that would support that. A bunch of yahoos rioting inside the capitol hardly counts as an attempt to overthrow the government, it was merely a disruption of the process and though he didn't do much to stop it, there is no evidence that he ordered this action so an exaggeration on both counts.

He might have tried if he had the means but he would have needed the military and that was never going to happen.

Again, just your opinion, but good to see the tiger hasn't changed his stripes and you are unable to accept there may be reasonable people who disagree with you. Very much like all your previous user IDs!
