French newspaper Le Canard enchainé causes a stir, publishing a cartoon showing seven bearded men with “Qatar” written across their chests chasing around a football holding machetes and rocket launchers, one with explosives strapped to his chest

Fifa Exposed on Netflix is pretty comprehensive. Amazing how they got away with it for so long.

Why the pushback and cave in at this late stage?

2.9M doing a great job of dictating terms to a fan base of billions with the capitulation of FIFA.

    Fuck Beckham as well, cunt.

The more I’ve read on the plight of the migrant workers the less interested I’ve become. I’ve shunned 3 World Cup sweeps so far. I’ll be sorely tested England make it to the QF (and will probably fall on my sword) but for now zero interest in watching any of it.
