    Nov 2022 - Covid News & Issues

Lets start with happenings in our country and the happiest place on earth.. Disney.

What could go wrong you ask?

On Monday morning, local time, the resort announced the theme park and the area around it would shut immediately, due to COVID-19 rules.

The Shanghai government said people could not enter the park, nor leave, before getting a negative test.

Some theme park rides are still running, according to social media users.

Shanghai Disney said there were still "limited offerings" operating at the park.

Not sure this is global news but....

I had my 2nd covid booster vaccine yesterday. Pfizer - targets both orignal and omicrom.

    Feeling fine.

Not done a massive amount of research but this article suggests it is....

The good news is that the new “bivalent” vaccine boosters from Pfizer and Moderna seem to work just fine against XBB, even though the original vaccines are less effective against XBB. They won’t prevent all infections and reinfections, but they should significantly reduce the chance of severe infection potentially leading to hospitalization or death. “Even with immune-evasive variants, vaccine protection against what matters most—severe disease—remains intact,” Adalja said. Only in hospitals, not going to impact the vast majority of people -I doubt "millions".
