I don't see Putin backing down and same with Ukr so long as the Nato countries still supportive. Also see no possibility that Ukr will be open to any shape or form of discussions abt Crimea and 4 regions. So I think the war will just drag on indefinitely from here on.. who ends up being the biggest loser can't say.
