A nonsense of a report from an ideologically captured organisation. Funny how quick they are to judge Israel but no mention of South Sudan, where an actual genocide has been gathering for years now.

Just to repeat: Genocide Watch considers South Sudan to be at Stage 9: Extermination

Amnesty? Nothing? Really? I wonder why? Is it because of the power that word has and how it is politically expedient to use against Israel but not so much Muslim-dominated Sudan? Not for me to say.
Indeed it is not for you to say... For once you get it right

South Sudan is mostly Christian. Very few Muslims which was one of the factors for independence.

Many fled to refugee camps in Uganda though ironically people from Sudan, especially Darfur, are fleeing the genocide there and going to South Sudan. Which shows how bad it is in Darfur.

I am in regular contact with people in both countries. The person in Darfur chatting while lying on his floor to avoid the bullets.

What do Amnesty say about it?

Fair point on South Sudan, although as you say Muslims involved in the Darfur Genocide (although, again, Amnesty has never called it a genocide, despite meeting that threshold much more than anything going on in Gaza).

Yes, my point is that you're misusing the word 'murderer' - there's a legal definition. I don't know of any country that classifies killings committed during wartime as part of their duties as soldiers as murder.

Fair point, I'll just call Nethanyahu a terrorist then

i never said all human conflict is in the province of the religious - that would be stupid. for every war you named, I could come up with an alternate list that places religion as a major if not primary motivation. naturally things are never black and white. very often, religious motivations are tied up with personal (henry 8), political (Cuius regio, eius religio), land (Israel-Palestine), political rights (Northern Ireland).

but to merely claim it's "an excuse and so is blaming it" is also lazy and short-sighted.

Ah yes if only there were no religions...and no race, and only one language, and no politics, and no genders, and no money, and no oil and no resources and no greed and no ambition and no pride and no different hair and eye color and no different dietary requirements and no opinions then maybe there would ne no conflict...Naaaah, I'm sure people would find other excuses...

Don't bite my head off, but I find it a bit disconcerting that Israel can bomb its neighbours for its 'safety' without any comment from world leaders etc.
