Latest mass poll (40k) with change in number of predicted seats from last survey by same company

    Lab 456 (-29)
    Cons 72 (+1)
    LibDems 56 (+13)
    SNP 37 (+11)
    Reform 7 (+4)
    Greens 1 (+1)

Tories seem to have reached the base of ultra safe seats and there seems to be a swing to the other parties.

With the UK system the LibDems and Reform could see a jump in seats if their polling figures continue to increase. Tactical voting could also change things.

    Two events,

The 80th anniversary of D Day in which the UK played a small part. 24 other world leaders present.

Pre-record a TV interview not broadcast next week.

Does he not have any advisors?

The cockup theory of history is far more likely in a British election. The more likely explanation is that the PM and his advisors are from a younger generation for whom WW2 was not a core background part of their growing up and therefore such a D-Day event could be stumbled over. But yes, the advisors still a bunch of bozos and Sunak no excuse. He didn't do his duty. Wanting to lose? Doubtful. The bit that doesn't easily fit into my theory is what alternative event might have trumped the missed event's photoshoot? Mystery to me. Anybody know?

One only needs to gaze across the channel to see that Hanlon's Razor is at full predictive capacity in politics all across Europe at the moment

It was all for an ITV interview.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
