People influenced by Serpentza Videos about china

    here's one remark

Going from what I've heard, China depends on where you live. I'm not sure about the food safety, given the various scandals: sewer oil, tainted baby milk, soy sauce made with human hair. And in how is a cashless society a good thing? It just makes you more vulnerable. It was bad enough in the UK, with the debanking of Nigel Farage.

SerpentZa hasn't been living in China for 10 years or so. Why would anyone take advice from him? He's also a huge douche, so again, why would anyone take advice from him?

yeah can't stand the guy, it's just all doom and gloom and now he is hiding in the US. Tell me China wasn't after him for a legit reason, bet he was a spy for the US and now focusing on propaganda. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

He left China 4 years ago, just before the pandemic. I'm not keen on his media personality, but I find some of his videos interesting. His business partner Laowhy86 is more enjoyable to watch, but equally doom laden. I miss their bike rides across China.

These two guys are very interesting, I even briefly met them once at a video games event in Hong Kong. At the time I was big fans of their channel. I thought they had a pretty balanced attitude to life in China, showing the good and the bad. Then they started to get harassed by the Chinese Gov for also showing the bad and they turned sour on China. Even more so I think they realized that hating on China gave them much much more clicks and views. As they were living of the income from their YT channel they went all in on what sells and they became a China hate channel. I haven't watched a single episode in many years.

i think his and his friend's videos were very entertaining, balanced and informative when they were in China. now it's a different approach and a bit click baitish, but so what? don' think they influence the world much frankly

I too used to enjoy C Milk's content before he left China. The balanced views actually gave me a more positive view of the country than the current paid white monkeys (it's a real term) who focus on why China is better than the West and "debunking" news.
