I did not in fact say they were not political, and the point was that their sentences reflected what society broadly felt they should be, outside the view of what any particular figure thinks.
That I loosely referred to the discretion afforded as “pardon power” does not in fact represent that I thought they were walking out of prison, but thanks for the clarification, they are apparently getting a worse punishment than what they were sentenced to in some minds.
I shall pull a hull here, since apparently holding people with power to account is less important than determining if forum members hold views agreeable with our own.
Since you claim “judge and juries” “very much are always political”, rule of law is a farce, so you must support lynch mobs?
