I'd rather read things I don't like than have some liberal in San Fransisco decide what I should and shouldn't be exposed to, based on their own biases.
Facebook's handling of the Biden laptop affair was shameful and anti-democratic. Same with how it dealt with the vaccine cautious during Covid. This new policy should help avoid that. Yes, there will be a lot more shit posted, but that's the downside of free speech: you don't get to always agree with what others say.
Have no time for Facebook, or for Zuckerberg, but support this move from a philosophical point of view.
There aren't enough factcheckers in the world to adequately check the Donald and the Musk.
