HSBC Expat are terminating their cheque services on 30th September 2025

And have already stopped issuing new cheque books. They also already withdrew their GBP and USD debit cards in January 2025.

HSBC Expat is becoming a very very niche thing these days. I do wonder what HSBC corporate thinks it is for?

I heard they have a new card which is a global money one to replace the individual gbp and usd card. Does that help?

Not FPS, but global transfers within HSBC are free.

I really don't see the point of cheques at this point in the technology cycle.
