The young 'uns are not that young though. Bit like a SAGA cruise where they offload bodies at each port

Full list of Cardinals by Country and Age

Pink are too old...around HALF are too old. They came for the funeral and also participated in the discussions leading up to the conclave, Cardinal Zen in particular.

    Scroll down to the list:

One or two plan to vote remotely from the "hotel" Casa as infirmiati no idea the spelling. EWTN really useful explanations, I am learning a lot. Watched each of them take the oath INSIDE the Sistine Chapel, first time I saw that. A couple had to go back because they didn't place their hand on the Bible...camera angle was so close you could read the words of the oath. It was in order of cardinal rank, Tagle...number 3,I had no idea.

It was all pretty fascinating to me, I am such a nerd...

Was it last year or the year before he was promoted to the Vatican? Responsible for evangelical matters I think.

The Pope got a crowd of 6 million in the Philippines and they provide money and a supply of priests. The youngest in the house opposite me is going to be a priest, very bright kid, always top of class.

So, age can work against you if you are "too young." No one knows how you will be as pope and 20 or 25 years of you may be too many.

Francis was picked, in part, because they figured he would only be 5 years or so because I believe he had promised to step aside when not fully able, early 80s or so.

    Instead...12 years.

And, many were unhappy. This will weigh against Tagle and Pizzaballa, both are "young."

Which is why someone like the Secretary of State may be more palatable. He is also supposedly a good administrator, something Francis was criticized about, people didn't like his management style, said to be autocratic behind the scenes.

Just seen a comment "they must elect an American anti-woke pope". I am sure there are people who can't complete a sentence without a woke in it. There was a car accidentily ploughed into people at Manila airport, apparently the fault of wokes.

The entrance into the Conclave and the sending out of everyone else (sounds nicer in Latin).

I know there are four votes per day, two morning and afternoon, but are there times for them?
