    EU elect new president

Bland, Forgettable, Insignificant and a fan of an obscure art form. Seems a perfect fit for a place like the EU.

The last thing we need in Europe is one forcefully promoting his own agenda and point of view. We need someone who can push for compromise when its 25 member states disagree.

Good thing we didn't get a war criminal as first president. There is already another nation that starts one war after the other and has complete disregard for international law and human rights. The world doesn't need another rogue nation like that.

It reminded me of the Catholic Church electing a new Pope. The EU President was elected during a dinner!

I was just thinking about how much more fun american politics is. I hope Sarah Palin is going to run in 2012. It was hilarious last time, when she couldn't name one single newspaper she reads, her foreign policy experience was "you can see Russia from Alaska", she didn't know South Africa is a country, and she didn't even have a passport until one year before running (and all her various replies at the katie couric interview).
