    Flats in Marina Cove/Sai Kung

I'm thinking about moving up to the Marina Cove/Sai Kung area and wondered if anyone had any ideas about what it is like. What is the travel time to Central and how much does it cost, what type of flats can you get for sub-10,000, do you any good real estate agents, how easy is it to get back from SoHo late at night etc, etc.

travel time from hang hau or tseungkwan o is about 30 minutes if u were clubbing in central or soho u'd have to make it in time for the last train before 12 i think or 12:30 not sure... it's not difficult but u can't do it that often if its only once or twice a week it's ok...u get good spacious flats and houses for 7-15 k nice views and is pretty convenient.mt neighbhours flat is coming up for rent its a 3 bed with terrace/garden sea view i think they want 8-8.5 k for it.

Marina cove is about an hour to central, faster if you drive.

Personally, not the best locale for a regular soho night owl. Although mini buses run 24 hour between choi hung mtr (infrequent) and sai kung, the MTR stops early. Taxi - pretty expensive option.....

Thanks for the replies guys. Tangy, does your friend have pictures of their flat? We went up on Sunday to have a mooch and a real estate guy took us to see 4 places. 3 were absolute sh+t holes and the other one we didn't even get out of the car!
As far as travel time- have iPod will travel.
