depend on which part of SaiKung you're in.
i am in TKO, which is part of SaiKung too..In TKO, there are quite a few walking/cycling route for people to walk around. i have seen some people they take their dog with them...
I'm near Hebe Haven... very new to the area so I don't know where TKO is.
There are literally OODLES of places to walk your dogs in Sai Kung. There are trails throughout the Country Parks and other parts of SK. The best thing to do is get a good map of the trails and find the ones nearest to your house. For those further afield: most of the green taxis take dogs.
We've got the Countryside Series Map of Clearwater Bay and SK in our shop.
I guess today (with typhoon Nuri) wouldn't be a good idea, though

I just remembered - there's also a little "dog park" near the Lion's Nature & Education Centre car park (just off Che Keng Tuk Road) that has various pieces of equipment for dogs to play on. I haven't seen it myself, but (when I expressed amusement at it) a friend said it is actually quite good.
Cheers!

Thanks very much for those suggestions! I shall have a look.... just one last thing - where abouts is Cindy Flowers/Steamers? Then I can come and get the map!!!!
Thanks Judy
Hi Wombat,
Oops....sorry....I shouldn't assume that everyone knows those two locations. If you know where the main SK Tin Hau Temple is - Cindy Flowers is up the street to the left as you look at the temple (currently under renovation). That's actually Main Street - even though it looks like an alley (no cars) these days - because the Tin Hau temple used to be right on the waterfront and that was the biggest street in town.
Or - another way to come at it is from Steamers which is a popular bar/cafe (nice outdoor eating area) sort of opposite the Sai Kung Market.
Attached is a map that'll be in the next issue of Explore SK.
Cheers!
Judy
Oh thanks for that, perfect!! I shall pop along and get a guide book. And thank you for the country park suggestion too!!
