Has anyone found a good way to Macau from Gold Coast?

For example, are there any other ferries etc other than having to come all the way into Central?

suppose you could take 962 to the Tuen Mun-Tung Chung ferry, then bus/taxi to SkyPier, then ferry to Macau...sounds like more of a hassle tho.....esp. since 962 stops right outside Shun Tak Centre

Apparently they revamped Tuen Mun Ferry Pier to be able to operate a Tuen mun - Macau ferry service, which would have been a fast 30 minute trip. there is a bit of info regarding the proposal online if you google it, but I have a feeling Stanley Ho had a bit of a cry, and protected his ferry terminal interests at Shun Tak and Macau. The idea was buried pretty quickly at a huge loss to the TM ferry pier development..

962 to Shun Tak is about the simplest and most straight forward, and on the way home walk accross the road from the Western market ( opposite Shun Tak ) until you get to the last 962 bus stop, before it enters the Western Tunnel. ( 5 - 10 minute walk )

Correct - the proposal was "forgotten" last year and since then...well....we wait and see..

Easiest way: BUS 962 to Shun Tak Centrer and then the jetfoil.

Yes - I found that thread when I was googling ferries to shenzhen and wondered why the terminal had not been upgraded (as promised) and no ferries went! Would have been fantastic. My original question was just to confirm that it did not go or that there was not some other ferry terminal I didnt know about! Happy with the 962, use it all the time...... Thanks anyway
