Overnight suggestions in Sai Kung for romantic weekend?

    Hello everyone!

I am planning a romantic weekend in Sai Kung for an anniversary starting off at one-thirtyone for lunch and hoping to stay the night in a nice setting be it a hotel, a boat or a yacht.. I've found it tough trying to find nice overnight accommodation.. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Any fail-safe dinner suggestions for seafood would be great too.
(doesn't have to be fine dining but just good grub!)

    Appreciate the help!!
    Tsu

how about camping on long ke beach? gets really quiet and romantic there once the crowds leave with their boats

Accomodation - not got much I know.

Seafood - don't think any of the seafront restaurants are that romantic but if ok with western seafood then try Antony's Catch.

I've used it for anniversary's and the like - it's quite a small intimate restaurant.

There's a little holiday hideaway in an old village at Pak Lap beach. You will need to hire a sampan to get there but it's beautiful.

Some details here of the place I assume you mean, but only in Chinese: Paklap

You can get a taxi to the point on the road round High Island reservoir above the bay then it's only about a 1km walk in.

Yes, well done PDLM, that's the place. It's basic and remote but really nice, and a lovely beach to yourself.

Hm, looks very basic indeed. Not knocking it, but probably not what the OP had in mind for a "romantic weekend in Sai Kung for an anniversary" (esp. one also including one-thirtyone).

I feel you have a very narrow definition of "romantic".

Maybe, maybe not - in this case just trying to read between the lines of the OP's post.
