    Croatian Language Instructor

    Hi there, how are you?

I just came across your post on the GeoExpat forum section in regards to finding a Croatian language instructor. I understand that the post was made a long time ago, however, I am a Croatian citizen moving to Hong Kong and was wondering whether you were looking for an instructor out of professional or personal reasons? I'm inquiring because I am searching for Croatian companies in HK that are possibly looking for a Croatian native speaker.

I appreciate any information you could give me. I look forward to hearing from you.

    How Interesting!

    Hi guys,

I must say I find it very interesting to see someone wanting to learn Croation here in HK.

I am not a native Croation speaker, I was born in Australia and now run an English Tutoring Centre in Yau Ma Tei. My mother is Serbian and my father Croation. I grew up speaking Serbian/Croation so I have a good grasp of the languages.

Living here in HK I don't get a chance to speak these languages anymore.

I would love to get in touch with the both of you and see if we can all help each other. Maybe we can all meet up at my classrooms once a week.

I look forward to hearing from you both.

    Cheers,

    Hi people,

Saw this forum as I was looking for job opportunities in HK.

I'm looking for a possibility to move to Hong Kong so i was wondering if i could get some advice from you guys about getting a job down there. Almost all of the companies that put adds don't want to sponsor work permit(visa) and i heard that Chinese population(natives) have priority over expats. For the past 5 years, I've been working for a Croatian mobile operator VIPnet(part of a mobilcom Austria group) in sales and business sales but want new challenges in my life. The problem is that i still don't have a uni. diploma cause i had to start working to earn money and had to put my studies on hold. I speak and write 3 languages (English, German and Croatian). Know there are not many Croatian native speakers there but also no jobs requiring this language skill.

It's nice to see that there are Croatians and Croatian speakers all around the world.

    Thanks for you're help guys!

I am a native Croatian speaker trying to learn Cantonese. I would be interested in language exchange meetups.

ratkomagic:There was a job add for a Croatian Translator on jobs section recently but I think they require a work permit.
