My Cantonese for your American English (near TKO)

    Hello,
I live in TKO and am a native Cantonese speaker. I wish to improve my spoken English(American). My overall English is okay(I think) but I suck in oral English.. . I'd love to polish my pronounciation and most importantly intonation.
I prefer language exchange via whatsapp in order to save transportation time and we could practice a little bit everyday. My what's app is 6104 two two zero 0.
Anyone reading this post and is interested feel free to contact me

    Thanks,
    Ken

Why American English specifically? Why not proper English? (i.e. British English)?

    Hi Katherine,

I love watching movies and dramas, and most of the time the popular ones are from US. I think learning from an American can help me understand more slangs that are used in America and get used to the way they say.
When I look up a word in dictionary, there are British and American pronunciations, and I have decided to pronounce a word in the latter way for a few years. I guess it would be better if I stick to it
also the British English seems royal to me and it doesn't fit my character lol
