Just landed in HK this Wed. Found that can't really get around without speaking Cantonese, especially in some local shops or restaurants. Even though I came from mainland and understand a little of this language, still feel painful when can't have a good conversation with locals.

Instead of registering in any Cantonese lessons, I'd like to try language exchange first. Looking for find mandarin-cantonese language partner, who is a Cantonese native speaker and preferablly works/lives around Three Pacific Place, where my office is located. Plan to have 2 or 3 sessions a week, lunch time during weekdays or weekend evenings.

Some background info about me. I am a 27 year old female professional working in a french bank. Used to work for KPMG and PricewarterhouseCoopers. Am a mandarin native speaker and came from Shanghai. I was a part-time mandarin tutor for about 3 years back in college. All students were foreigners from different countries. Have had 8 year old girl, college studuents, businessmen, married couples as my students. Tried to make language learning more practical in day-to-day life and enjoyed meeting meeting.
