    Which one?

    Hi all,

I'm thinking about learning a new language.

Does anyone know which European languages are more commonly used in Hong Kong?

    English I would say.

After that probably French, after that I'm not sure - we're down to pretty small numbers.

Indeed, but also quite a bit of Dutch, to my surprise. And Spanish. And some Portuguese.

And in certain areas, quite a lot of Russian.

    Thanks guys for your reply.

Is French easier to learn or German?

There are so many institutions out there. Which one would you suggest? Is the course fee reasonable?

Any geo members are taking any of the course now?

With Russian you should go in to the hospitality industry. Lost count of the number of chubby Russki's in speedo's in the likes of Phuket, Borneo and Bali.
