I'm normally an iced Americano person or expresso if I want hot coffee. The iced americano at Pacific is far stronger than Starbucks (which tastes like they poured water through a used coffee filter)
I don't drink at such common coffee joints
I take mine black - they only way coffee should be drunk
I'm a Latte / Flat white kind of person
I add milk myself
I get the staff to put milk in

Actually it probably increases their costs as people can then refill and use way more milk than if the starbucks barista could add their budgeted amount.
EDIT: Oops meant to quote the person saying that starbucks separated the milk area to lower costs.
I seldom drink coffee and rarely go to Starbucks. But this post reminded me of all the money saving tips for Starbucks for the US. In particular, ordering two to three espresso shots hot or over ice and adding the milk at the station, which apparently is cheaper than ordering a Latte.

I go to Starbucks almost every day. But still find it hard to associate 'life changibg' with anything related to it.
I thought the OP meant do you bring your own milk to add because you don't like SB's choices of milk.....but, either way, wow!

I very rarely go to Starbucks or the others...such a rip off.
Their coffee may suck, but they are one of the few companies that pays for a college education for US workers:

I don't know of any other major corporation that does that and think they deserve some credit for it.
