    Moving within Wan Chai

    Hi,

Can anyone help with a reasonable movers here? I am moving from Jaffe road in Wan Chai to Fleming road I have furniture. including a queen size bed frame and a mattress but its all dismantled (except the mattress) how much should it cost? I received a quote from a mover here and they're charging 2k, i think that's a bit steep.

    thanks!

Queen size bed frame and mattress won't go in a van; you'll need a 5 tonner if it's a Gogovan.

If you actually want help getting the stuff down from one place and up into the other, then yes, labour (with insurance and parking) are going to cost a pretty penny.

2K is steep?? then u need to grab a few friends, move the stuff to ground level and then call 5 ton truck, u have to move the stuff onto the truck yourself or the drive will charge extra money. 15 mins loading and unloading. cheap cheap
