Good places to trade in mobile phones?

Anyone know a good shop that would give decent cash for pre-owned mobiles? My cousin is coming over to HK soon and wants to trade in her old phones, she has an I-phone (one of the newer models) and a few others. Been to that mobile centre in Mong Kok - Sin Tat Plaza, seems kinda dodgy.. anyone tried there before or know other places?

    Cheers

    Not dodgy at all.

You’ll get slightly better prices from the guys on the streets.

Also ensure that the phones aren’t network locked and also that there’s Chinese language support on them.

Apliu St is another place to go to sell phones

    Cheers for the info mate

Will give the booths on the street a try..
would you recommend to get a fluent Cantonese speaker to go with, if heading to Sin Tat? They won't rip one off there? lol also would you get more $$ if you still have the charging cables when trading in, or would it be more or less the same?

Yup always helps getting a local to deal with them and you stand back.

Charging cables you won’t get a lot more if anything at all but if you have the box and paperwork then you’ll Definitely get more.

Go to at least a couple of places first to get a guide price then decide.

Yes, best to make sure the phones arent network locked, or you will get shitty value for them here.

Look at this link for a ball park idea of what value to get.. You should get slightly more than listed on this from Sin Tat and the guys on the streets buying phones.
