Have any of you seen WHT refunds from a range of Blackrock funds being credited?

I have seen one set of refunds from a fund so far but the vast majority of Blackrock refunds have not been credited so far.

@ndt - excellent news. Contributions to the Beers and Biryani club are always appreciated.

Following up on this for the last time, as my personal experiment has ended up being exactly where I thought it would.

A few funds traded on the exchange have resulted in an appropriate refund as I had figured they would.

    e.g.

Tax Report from the fund manager

    Refund seen in late Feb:

Got my withholding tax refunded on the reclassified component of the distribution.

Across my experiments I have now seen refunds in the following categories and all of them have been handled appropriately by HSBC / Blackrock.

    - Qualified dividends / Tax free dividends - across various fixed income categories include munis (which have arrived without any deductions)
    - Return of Capital
    - Short Term Capital Gains
    - Long Term Capital Gains
