JHD opened. They do burgers too. Tried their NYC burger and it was nice. Had the chili hotdog and that was nice too.

La Kaffa will be doing all day breks. Opening tomorrrow as the guy told me.

A row of cafes al fresco on the ground floor. Looks like a nice start.

King's Lodge and the teppanyaki place are both pretty good. Looking forward to Simply Life opening ...

    excellent.

Had the Shantung hand shredded chicken, 山東手撕雞. Beautifully put back into the skin before serving. Nice piece of presentation.

Ah, the walk from Olympic to Mong Kok MTR station would take 10-15mins, plus the covered walking ends at MK Market, and the short hot section of the trip is no fun.

Anyone remember the original Hermitage on Kennedy Road? It was civil servants' quarters but they had a cafe on an upper floor which overlooked HK Park, and I took a date there once. It got demolished before '97 to make way for the Chinese Foreign Ministry building.
